Tobias Schiller was born in 1976. He studied Geography in Tübingen and Urban Development at the University of Stuttgart, where he already familiarised himself with international building exhibitions and regional transformation processes. Before and during his studies, he worked for ten years as a journalist and in marketing for an organisation making documentary films on topics around sustainability. He trained in press and public relations work as a volunteer and later as a public relations editor at the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation (WRS). He was in charge of the communication there for the preparatory platform process for IBA’27 from the beginning. He moved to IBA’27 GmbH once it had been founded.

He has been the Communications Manager and Press Officer at IBA’27 since 2018.
