Prof. Elisabeth Endres
Elisabeth Endres studied architecture in Kaiserslautern and Munich and subsequently worked at the Technical University of Munich until 2018. She has been a project manager at Ingenieurbüro Hausladen since 2013. She became part of the management team in 2018. In July 2019, she was appointed to the TU Braunschweig, where she heads the Institute for Building Climatology and Energy of Architecture.
In practice and research, Elisabeth Endres works at the interface between architecture and technical systems and their integration into building structures. The aim is to develop buildings and neighbourhoods that produce durable built structures with a minimum of technology in terms of design, technology and the circular economy.
Elisabeth Endres is on the board of the Sep Ruf Gesellschaft e.V. and has been appointed to the State Monument Council of the Federal Capital Berlin and the Advisory Board of HafenCity Hamburg since 2023. In 2019, she was awarded the Ingrid zu Solms Foundation Culture Prize for her commitment to preserving building culture.
