Heidi Pretterhofer
Heidi Pretterhofer, born in Graz in 1970, studied architecture at the Graz University of Technology. She lives and works in Vienna, where she runs the Pretterhofer Arquitectos office.
Her works move at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, theory and cultural production. In parallel to her architectural practice, she is the curator, editor and author of numerous exhibitions and publications that explore the relationship between urban conditions and architectural approach.
She taught and researched at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and the TU Vienna, among others. Since 2005 she has been a member of the Austrian Chamber of Architects, since 2018 a member of the board of trustees of the IBA’27 StadtRegion Stuttgart and since 2019 a member of the expert committee for art in public spaces in Lower Austria.
