Grazyna Adamczyk-Arns studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart and went on to work in the areas of urban renewal and design for a number of German municipalities. For nine years, she was managing director of the municipal urban renewal company in Wroclaw, Poland, where she was involved in the renewal of the Werkbund WuWA residential estate as well as the revitalisation of the Gründerzeit neighbourhood Przedmiescie Olawskie. Grazyna Adamczyk-Arns lectured for several years at the University of Stuttgart and the Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences.

She has been a Project Manager at IBA’27 since the beginning of 2020.
